Don't you just hate the old it 'was in the loft' story?

I was at an auction in Middlesbrough a couple of weeks back where they were selling off a few Star Wars bits. Its only 50 mins away from me so I thought I'd experience the whole 'Bargain Hunt' thing!

Some chap there bought a few figs and an old laser rifle. He's now got them listed on ebay saying he found them in his grandmothers attic :roll:

I get really pissed off with that whole story, why can't people just be honest? It also seems to used to cover up a lot of repro / custom stuff these days :evil: :evil:

I always treat any story that has the phrase "in the loft" as saying "repro/rip off/ I'm a chancer" and tend to stay clear.
Most of the time its shite they're selling anyway. (Not literally)

then its the listings that blab on for about TEN mouse scrolls about how fukin great they are then dont even mention what COO the item is!!!!

they bug me more than the "attic" crew lol

But part of the luck of the COO search is buying as many of them(the figure) as you can and lucking out on the COO front.

If I see a cheap Biker Scout, I'll grab it.
