Guys think i might get a dog. Looking after my older sister dog this weekend. Its a chocolate lab male. Its a very cool dog. Who all got dogs here. What kind

My folks have three.
A dalamtion, dim as **** and leaves white hair everywhere;
a Cairn terrior, great wee dog, just wants to play and run all day;
and a Yorkshire terrior, it's an auld woman's lap dog (prob not what you want!).

Dog pros -

Loyal
fun
protective

Dog cons -

Shag + Dump in public
Shag your leg in public
Eat their own ****

Your choice ;)

I have never see aggresive labrador. We always had a lab growing up. If i get a dog i can take it to work with me nearly every day so it wont be left in house

Get a female dog and it won't hump your leg. Just make sure you get it spayed, or your left with lots of little puppies!

My sister dog had its bollux chopped off. He is not even 2 years old yet. Never had a chance to use it poor bugger. But i know what you mean weasel about male dogs trying to shag anything

We want to get a dog, it's just a big tie.
We have a cat and if we go away on holiday, a neighbour can pop in and feed it
or my brother stays over and feeds it in the morning and evening.
Would be a very different story with a dog.

Also your house smells when you get a dog.

Still want to get one though. Would love a sheepdog, but would probably get a spaniel.

Dogs are great when you have kids, assuming you get one that will play ball with the kids etc. You can lock them both outside and they will amuse each other for hours.

I can just picture you on a building site with your wee Chiwawa in your 'man bag' under your arm! :lol:

They are brilliant arent they, they love you to bits and are so friendly...by far the best all round dog/breed in my opinion.
