Do all original Darth Vader lightsaber's float?

Got a couple of Vader Lightsabers recently - they look the real deal - but sink. The seller is adamant that he has had it since new.
Any ideas?

Hi Andy, Sabers is very difficult if they are not painted.

Some original floats, sinks, glow in dark light and others do not glow in dark light.

I try to compare them with childhood sabers and ask collectors who knows more about sabers.
