Has anyone else heard about Disney's representatives in the UK cracking down on customisers? It sounds more like they are looking for fakes of the new lines than vintage customs. But it could be interesting if they were pointed in certain directions.

Not sure if the link works but I saw this on FB from a customisor - "Just a warning to all customisers out there, 2 executives walked into a toy shop representing Disney and looking out for people selling custom figures and taking an interest in how they obtained photos of Force Awakens figures that haven't been released yet. They then proceeded to check the whole shop, through every Star Wars figure they sold. Seems like Disney are really clamping down and there's a chance of it killing the Star Wars customs community. Has anyone else had this experience?"

These executives work for Baker & McKenzie of London. Whoever they are. Supposed to be Disney's representatives in the UK :?

Well if anyone feels like enquiring into what exactly they are looking for in the UK then that is their UK page. Looks a pretty serious worldwide law firm. Probably not to be ****ed with.

I think I'd be tempted to tell them to get the **** out of my shop if they started officiously looking through my stock. If I had a shop.

Yeh but if your stock was legit then you wouldn't have anything to hide. When reading these stories I think it's pretty safe to assume a degree of exaggeration. I'm betting they didn't 'search' the place. Probably more like they had a good look around.
