Die with your (silver) boots on!

Does anyone else think this blue snags boots may have been repainted? There's just something not right about it. The boots are so pristine but the rest of the figure looks a bit worn and grubby.

They are awfully silver. Nothing surprises me anymore these days.

Yes, I think they have been re-sprayed. You can almost make out the blemishes underneath the paint.
