Thought I'd share an update on the TIE Bomber. Its always been thought that the Bomber was only released as a test run of 75,000 as stated on the SWCA. After chasing the guys at the archive for a source for that number it appears that no-one can remember where 75,000 came from and as such it probably shouldn't be cited.

One of Ron Salvatore's points was that the bomber is probably more common than the other large die cast ships in ESB packaging or the 12" Fett in ESB packaging and no-one talks about test runs for them - a really obvious observation in hind sight

Anyway, for those interested the bomber page is now updated here:

I was listening to the podcast about your diecast site today Andy. Sounds interesting, will be sure to check it out. Still keen to pick a couple up, would like an x-wing and tie fighter.

Well worth a look Andy ;)

Are you after loose or MOCs - I'll keep my eyes peeled

I was chuffed to bits when I got mine. It's my second favourite after the Star Destroyer.

Nice update. I'm part way through collecting the diecast, loose and MOC, and your website has been a great resource.
