Well seeing as im the new boy here i thought its time to put my baggie collection up for all to see (thats interested lol).

This has been a hard job putting the set together, im 3 away now (Blue snag, Lumat, small head han  ).

Im also picking up baggie variations, so pm me if you have anything you think i may be interested in.

Anyway, here's the link http://community.webshots.com/user/delboy1975?start=0

So who else on here picks up baggies? or is it just me and Marc (TheGuiltyone)

Nice collection del what is your fav?

I'm not sure tbh, some of the early baggies like the DSD are very hard to find.

I have a Removable limbs c3po in a made in macau baggie, which is extremly scarce.
I love that one cus its such a common figure (loose) but the baggie makes it very HTF.

As for an out and out fave i don't think i have one.

Great baggie/multipack collection. I'm jealous of the blue saber Luke Jedi baggie.

I lucked upon that one, cost me a whopping £10 about 4-5 months ago

did every figure at some point come in a baggie? or are there some that came MOC only?

Basically every figure can be found in kenner bags except for some of the last 17.
(luke stormie,imp dignitary,R2 pop up,lando general, A-wing pilot)

However, some of the last 17 were included in the woolworths 8 packs (8 figs for 99p), and some of these figures were in palitoy baggies.
Most baggie collectors from the U.S don't believe they exist, purely because one of the major sources for these figures was Billyboy :?

However i've seen about 5-6 yaks over the past 3-4 years, and i've actually had a imperial dignitary 'in hand' and it looked legit to me.
Ive also seen pictures of a A-wing pilot and lando general that looked good.
I know of someone that had a lumat in baggie from a woolies 8 pack, and there has also been a reported han carb in baggie but still 'on card', but i've never seen a picture.

Quite a few other european collectors can remember last 17 figs in these woollies 8 packs so i have no doubts that some are real.

I know of one collector that has all of the last 17 figures bagged, but 2-3 are a bit suspect imho.
Personally i don't think that all of the last 17 were bagged, or if they were it was in such small numbers i doubt that many remain today.

Yak actually seems the most common in a palitoy baggie, i've turned 2 down in the past due to the price, but im always hopeful of getting one for a reasonable price.

Collection is looking sweet Del 8)

Have you ever had a Green Snake Yoda baggie?

Yes i've owned 2, one is still on my webshots but its actually recently been sold.
Sold them both for £100 each so too good to turn down.
The green snake never gets included for a full collection of baggies, only the orange and brown are.
So i didn't mind parting with them too much.
Hopefully i will pick another up tho.

here he is

Nice Score! I thought I had found one on this site a few months ago. I emailed them about it since the listing was under green saber and they said the picture was wrong. I asked if they had the one pictured still around and they said they didn't. :(

Every green snake yoda i've ever seen bagged has been in this baggie type.
I believe it originates from a 6 pack.

I know **** all about baggies and didn't realise there were so many figures available
in sealed bags. When I've seen them on E Bay I have never even bothered looking as I thought
it would be so hard to know what are fake or re-sealed baggies, but I suppose that
comes from experience.

Great looking collection, nice one mate

That sucks, he's a real tough one to find. Before i got mine i don't think i saw one for sale anywhere.
I was expecting mine to be the green saber, so it was a very pleasent suprise when i opened the parcel to see this one

Yes you soon start to see tell tale signs, i sell off (as resealed/or probably resealed if not 100% sure) any im not happy with.
You actually see more fake heat sealed baggies than you do taped, but all are quite easy to spot once you have the figure 'in hand' or if the pics are clear enough.
its just a pain in the ass returning them, cus the seller always claims they are legit, or you've switched them lol.

Plus its worth taking the time before you start to work out which figures came in which bags, that can save you a whole lot of money.
On ebay seller purestarwars/jediretrocards is knocking out hollow cheeks tusken raider baggies for £50 a pop. There the biggest load of fake **** you will ever see.
For 1 the hollow cheek tusken has never been found in a baggie, and i doubt it ever will. 2nd he's selling them in the c3po r/limbs tape sealed baggies (the cheapest most common baggie), but he's heat sealing them, very poorly apparently. And to make matters worse the hollow cheeks are home made too, they are just bored out and repainted  .

I've only got 1 baggie in my collection im unsure of, but it came from a reliable source so i've given him the benifit of the doubt. The baggie will be replaced once i find another, just to keep me happy lol.

Unfortunately when collecting baggies you have to accept that your gonna pick up the odd fake.
But i guess thats the same for collecting moc's or even loose figures (repro weapons).

Great stuff Del

An impressive collection, I've got just a few baggies C3PO and R2 (just because I like them) and a few Han Hoths

Do you know how many more Han Hoth Baggies are out there?

You've got almost all of them i think, i know there is a dark legged han hoth in palitoy baggie, i've sold about 4-5 of them this year that i got from an ex employee.
If i come across another i will let you know if you want?

Don't think there are any others.
