I bought a lot of the collector's glasses from 77, 80 & 83 and there's one glass that just doesn't match the others. It has a different profile than the others and has a different back. I can't find anything on this glass on google so I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me with it. This particular glass is the Vader and Boba Fett from The Empire Strikes Back series. It's marked LFL 80. All the other glasses like this one are tapered to be smaller at the top and larger at the bottom and have a nice smooth taper on the bottom. They also have the blue outline and Darth Vader is in red on the back of the glass. This glass has the same diameter on top as it does on the bottom. The bottom also has a recessed lip rather than the smooth taper transition. The back of the glass doesn't have the blue circles above the Darth Vader and all the letters and borders are in white. Also the glass is about 1/4" shorter than the more common glasses and the burger king and coca cola trademarks are located about an inch from each side of the front graphics whereas they are much closer to the front graphic on the more common glasses.
Can anyone explain this to me? This glass came from the estate of a 40 year toy collector who passed away. Any info you can provide is greatly appreciated!
