Cut card figures

Like these? if you desparately want the figure in great condition i could understand it but personally especially with such low end figures as those below i would keep them in there bubbles, There are millions of mint figures out there to pick up how many are still in sealed bubbles.

Isn't half the fun of this hobby trawling E-bay and message boards for that minty figure? Then seeing loads of stuff posted you didn't intend to collect and deciding to start collecting that as well and then before you know it its all spiralled out of control and your laid out in your underpants cradling a half empty tub of Yoda foam in a room full of stormtroopers wondering where exactly did it all go wrong :D in answer to your Q I can understand the temptation but wouldn't do it myself.

personally i would keep them in the bubble unless you were wanting a proper display, generally loose figures in mint condition are dirt cheap anyway so no need to specifically go for cut cards.

Unless you want to small that freshly opened figure smell too :)

But it's such a tempting slippery slope :) Good luck with the loose collection these little things are damn addictive!

The smell is actually the most tempting thing about these cut card figures...could I please just open one???
I'll probably just collect loose ones, was thinking of going the AFA/UKG route, but being cased and graded just don't justify their prices for me...

i opened a beater squid head for my loose collection, the smell just made my head roll back to when i was 7 lol

Star Wars figures and Panini stickers are the whiff of the gods! You can always collect minty loose figures then have the best or your favourites graded, I started out in the hope of just buying the first 12 as they were really the ones i have strong memories of as a kid and i went down the AFA UKG route for those, I am now thinking about adding more but will be buying the loose examples and then getting my favourites graded, I mean seriously who would want a Graded Logray?

I haven't smelled that new toy smell since I was a kid, but I can vividly remember it, like it sucked me into the star wars universe and would never let me go,
I have never come across any modern toy with that distinct smell...

If I go for minty loose ones, I won't grade them, they don't belong in those cases imo, I want to be able to pick them up and fiddle with them,
after all, they really are toys :p
