Customs charges after AFA grading??

No you don't. Can't remember what they put on the customs form but whatever it is it works ;) it might be 'services'.

Chris

Pretty sure that I read somewhere that they don't put the value of the item on the customs form- only the postage cost or something like that

I believe its the value of the acrylic cases that is declared. Your figures are still insured buut through a private company therefore they don't need to declare it for customs purposes.

This is my understanding from their website and email comms with them. I'm hoping this is the case anyway, as I have just had my ebay seller in the US send 6 figures directly to the AFA. So I'm a bit uneasy (but excited at the same time :) ) wondering firstly what grade they will get, and secondly hoping that NZ Customs won't nab them :?
