I'm a bit confused, if I buy an item on here and pay by gift on pay pal then is there any real reason the why the seller has to put the value on the parcel so I end up with extra money's to pay?? Am I wrong in thinking there's no risk on there part because gift payment is secured, why can't it be posted like a birthday present? Am I wrong??

I tend to think it is a fair trade and wouldn't want to buy from someone who is happy to accept a gift payment but won't mark the value down

If you pay via gift you have no comeback - so you are both taking a risk

Completely agree with Iain here

i personaly don't see an issue at all with marking it as a $20 gift....its saves the buyer money and really is little to no risk to the seller.

It's not an issue until the item is lost or damage by the careful postman. If the seller is asked by the buyer to mark down the price then it's wholly the buyer's responsibility if anything happens to the item. Do it at your own risk!!
