I was wondering what you guys pay for customs fees for items you recieve from across the pond??? Does it depend on the items stated value??? We do not have that type of thing over here.

Todd i think its about 20% off what it is insured for also parcel force also want £8 just for handeling it

I thought it was based off the stated value on the green customs form attached to the package by the seller.

If its over £16 value you get hit for 17.5% VAT, excise duty at about 5% and a Parcelforce handling fee of between £8 and £12. If its marked as a gift the tax/duty free threshold goes up to £36 :evil: :evil: :roll:
