I recently saw a seller on eBay selling off a collection of POTF custom carded figures. The listing was honest in that these were not original. One I really liked the look of was the Lando Skiff Guard with Falcon coin. It was over £30 so I could not justify that at the time, as it is essentially a £10-15 figure and that means the repro card would be worth around £15-20 which I can't see me paying, although that said someone did buy it for £30 and I regret in a sense not buying it, but then the bigger part of my collectors heart has no passion for reproduction stuff and I personally would prefer loose figures to recarded / repeo and while I do have a few double figures I would like to card again I am unlikely to ever do so as it seems wrong.
However, Does anyone else do their own customs for their display reasons ? If yes, how hard is it to actually get a custom card & bubble ( without ordering from Spain via eBay )
I can see making a card is not too tricky, although time consuming and no doubt expensive, but how the hell would you make a Bubble ? That seems impossible Especially something like POTF bubble, which is hardly standard ........Maybe that £30 was justifiable after all :?
My question is one of interest only...not planning on repro carding 92 loose figures with an iron or anything, so no moral arguments please
