crap connection GRRRR

me or my flatmate have managed to rip the BT cable right out of the wall lol

so no connection at home atm

and now at g/f's on a shoddy wifi connection its DOING MY HEAD IN! taking over 2 mins to refresh a sodding page

i think im gunna give up!!!

anyways is it easy to re-wire a BT socket inside the wall sockets??

I rewired all of our sockets a while back and the master socket with the wire coming into the house generally has three sets of two wires for connection (allowing three separate lines). I guess one of these pairs runs to your BT socket.

If you have a separate cable from other flats it may be that two of the wires on your socket are stripped and the other four are bundled up, if thats the case it should be an easy job.

my mates wiring is all botched around the house and the front cover wasnt screwed on... the wire comes from one room into his box room where his PC is so it must have got tugged off the wall when someone caught the wire i guess


ive found another 3 boxes down stairs but all botched or old installs
