I hope he doesn't mind me posting a congrats thread on here, no doubt it'll be a few days/weeks before he's even thinking about us anyway.

Congrats mate, glad you and the girls are doing well. Enjoy parenthood, especially the sleepless nights!

Thanks lads - Emiel, its our first kid.

It was an horrendous day, easily the scariest ****ing thing I have experienced but I now have a new found respect for my wife, shes a hero after going through what she did and still producing something as gorgeous as this:

How on earth did I manage to make something as beautiful as that?

Sadly Mum and Sophia in hospital for a couple of days to monitor them as things didnt go quite to plan.

Only allowed to visit 12-8pm...is it bad that I slept like a log last night ?

Enjoy the sleep while you can!

PS, thank god for her she didn't get her looks from her da!

I think 1 day old is just a tad young!
Plus she's spawn of Bollux so she's definately safe!

Well done to Mrs Bollux and congrats to Chris for what he did 9 months ago

No well done mate, must be a great feeling :) Hope mum and baby are doing ok and back home with you soon!

Congratulations to the Bollux's :)
The new members better hope she doesn't grow up too quickly :D

you slept like a log because your body shut down after being bombarded with endorphins & natural chemicals - becoming a parent for the first time is a unique feeling. Once again congrats Chris :)

Congrats Chris, fantastic to hear your news buddy.

She is beautiful.

Like Weaz says, get as much slepp as you can now mate.
Try and encourage your missus with breast feeding (her feeding baby, not from your moobs!), it's obviously great for littlen but it's also great for you as you don't have to do night feeds.
