Cleaning figures

My only concern with Armor-all is from past experience with automotive vinyl & trim. It does come up really well (like new) but then it seems to 'dry' out overtime more quickly than normal. ie. if you do not reapply it often the vinyl & plastic ends up worse than if you had left it alone.

I have never had a problem with it making things worse. I do know it dries up, so I may have to clean my loose figures every few months.

could become a bit of a chore I suppose???

i generally just give mine the odd wipe with a cleansing wipe :)

Cheers Saber, gave it a scrub with a soft brush and Washing up liquid and with a bit of time came up trumps  :)

So thats how they yellowed and there's me thinking it was cos they never cleaned their teeth!

i just use baby wipes if its good enough for babys its good enough for my figures

I have used Armour-All for years...no problems as of yet....but soap and water does work to....hell if your in the tub anyways ...have at it.

I tend to use fairy liquid and warm water - it's not bad at all. For small cleaning jobs I use pure alcohol on a cotton bud.

On a side note does anyone know why certain figures get a 'white mould' or something - I'm specifically thinking of the Imperial Dignitary for that - some sort of impurity in the plastic?
