Recently picked up a loose Chewie figure. The only visable leg marking on it is, 1977 on the left leg. There is a scar above this but there is no LFL, GMFGI markings? The limbs are a different colour than the torso, not showing up quite how much so in the photo, they are almost a brown/green. Is that a common enough figure? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks

From what I can see it's #13 ?

the 'missing' GMFGI can be a result of a dirty/worn mould.

Here are some #13s 'euros/tri logos' on the left (note the slightly different limb colours)

Hi Jeff, dirty/worn mould or not. I have never seen this stamp before with only 1977 on a chewbacca. I would call it a new coo variant no. 14 It must be very rare. Congratulations with that one you lucky guy. Another variant for me to hunt, thanks

Yeah that might be it so, but it definitely looks scarred out as opposed to an error. Thanks for the advice... :D

What about some raw fish, gollum :p

But let me know if you want to sell him

I think its No 2 or 3 in that guide and as James says, either a worn mold or short shot, you can make out the shape of gmfgi 1977 HK and thats the figure that mostly shows up with the green limbs

Agreed that #2 & #3 often have discoloured limbs. I assumed it was #13 'cos it looks like the 77 ends well before the knee & that's the only small font COO version.

I thought that as well but it must just be the G.I.1 that we can see.
