Chewbacca prototype?

Hi guys

Wondering if you can help me, I am trying to work out what this is if its a prototype or what

Would love some feedback if anyone has some info on what this could be?

To me you can just see remnants of leg markings. So I reckon it's a worn mold, bad pour, certainly not a prototype. The seller deals with a lot of Star Wars so if he/she did think it was 'real' it would have gone to AFA.

Yeah i agree. You can see very faint leg markings. I'm sure the seller can see them too from his own photos!

Thanks for all your info guys, what about the circle stamp on the bottom of his foot? any idea what that is I have never seen that before on a chewbacca figure any ideas?

I've just checked my Chewbaccas and I also have a no COO Chewbacca with a very faint date marking and a circle on the foot. I think its a Palitoy! I can never tell the difference between the Palitoy and Lili Ledy. I'm sure there is a COO variant collector who can determine which it is. Nothing too exciting though

A very knowledgeable friend has suggested that this figure MIGHT be from the POTF Classic Edition 4 Pack from 1995!

It says that the 4 figures were produced from molds cast directly from the original vintage kenner action figures which could explain the faint COO & the circle on the foot being an ejector pin mark.Does anyone have one of these sets or figure which could confirm this?

o me you can just see debris of leg arrangement. So I account it's a beat cast, bad cascade, absolutely not a ancestor. The agent deals with a lot of brilliant Wars so if he/she did anticipate it was 'absolute' it would accept gone to AFA.

Well I can't say for sure because i don't own the figures from the classic edition 4-pack but I am sure I remember seeing that the markings were quite clearly defined with a 1995 and a different COO.

I love the look of the classic edition 4-Pack. I've been thinking about picking one up for a while now.

I think the leg markings on Classic Edition 4 Pack should be Kenner China (2 lines) on one leg and 1995 LFL on the other.

I still vote No COO Palitoy
