I'd just like to post my appreciation for the Parcel Force man who delivered my latest ebay purchase today.
I bought a Rebel Transport fully complete with all the bits - back packs, gas masks as well as all the inserts and a really nice box. The only problem was the seller simply wrapped it in brown paper which ripped off somewhere along the line, leaving a thirty year old unsealed box flapping around in the breeze! Luckily the nice bloke who delivered it recognised it as a collectable and put it in the cab with him so nothing fell out on the way. Although it's pure luck that everything was in there when he received it as it all could have come out any any point along the line.

Anyway, I know we don't always get the best service from the couriers of Great Britain (lol), but this guy was great and I just wanted to put some thanks out there in to the cosmos.

Nice to hear good news on this subject for a change, your a very lucky bunny.

That seller needs a neg for sure though as its totally unacceptable packaging, I spent till 6:15 am this morning packing all my sold items from ebay (only modern ships to) but every one is in a sturdy large cardboard box with loose fill & a double layer of the bib bubble bubble wrap with tonnes of parcel tape round the outer in all directions, I like to send items in the same manor I would like to revive them, which a lot of seller could do with taking note of (sadly) Uploaded with ImageShack.com

He probably felt guilty after nicking all the money from your Birthday cards from previous years :D

yeah its nice to see there are conscientious couriers! depends on their age and what mood they are in on the day i think lol

cant quite believe this ESP with parcelforce out of all the couriers they must be the roughest outfit for handling parcels , i have had numerous damaged parcels from them and the last one was last week

great to hear that the driver had the flipping sense to do that mate , bet you are pleased :)

I had another Brown Paper Numpty (or BPN as I shall now call them) today! ESB X-Wing box just wrapped in brown paper as if it has magical protective powers.
At least this one didn't rip.

I had a brown paper twat recently

I can't believe people think this will be fine !!
