Cast Lead Weapons

Anyone else ever come across custom lead-cast figures/weapons?

I recently bought a little lot of figures (...ok, they were ewoks! ) and all the bows and staves were all cast in lead. They are probably utterly worthless and I would have liked the originals but they were highly detailed and a curious find nonetheless.
