Canadian 12 Back Chewbacca - advice needed

Hi all,
Quick story about this card, I brought it probably around 6-8 years ago as a canadian 12 back chewbacca and like most things of mine ended up stuck in a box in the loft. Anyway recently I got it back down and noticed the seal is broken now i admit i`m unsure due to the time i`v had the card if i brought it cheap because the seal was broken or if it has been broken since i`v had it in my possesion. Really what i`m after is your advice on if the card does look legit in which case i`ll send it off and get it regraded and sealed again or if i got a pretty looking fake card.

If need any other pics close ups or at different angles just say and i`ll get them on asap.

An interesting peice. Got to say i have never seen an item graded by that particular compnay before.

I have to say just by looking at the pics you have posted that the item looks to be legit. Can i ask where you bought the item as this may help in confirming if it is real or repro.

Pretty sure i brought it from Ebay, as for the grading company if i remember correctly i think it was before any UK grading company existed so items had to be sent to the US for grading then sent back over to the UK.

I know Plastic Dreams was a store at one time. I never bought from them and had no idea they ever did grading. I found this thread on RS which mentions them of being located in New Jersey here in the states.

Wow, another "actual" piece graded by Plastic Dreams. The owner "Josh" closed the doors a few years ago and runs the business out of his home. I see him at Shows from time to time. Though I have never had a problem with him, he reputation as a jacka$$ is well deserved.

On topic, I do not remember hearing of Plastic Dreams selling fake stuff. Misgraded, but not fake. Funny as my Canadian 12 Back (also from Plastic Dreams) "graded" a 9.6 as well. Looking over the pictures, I think the card is legit. Hope this helps...

Delete whatever you want, I was only posting in what i believed to be the correct area`s of the forum. May be posts on the same item but it is different questions which is suited to the different area`s in this forum or so i thought.

1. If I were sending that Canadian 12bk Chewie to AFA then I would use Parcelforce and insure it for about £700.

2. Never thought I'd see another Josh 'Plastic Dreams' Vilensky POS casing job.

However much you feel this statement is correct FFS that is some way to 'announce' yourself to a group of guys you're asking for help. Nice :|

Really hate the way text comes out sometimes as gets misunderstood. Wasnt trying to be "arsey" in the slightest was just saying to delete whatever you wanted i just posted where i thought i should off as at the time thought the questions suited the different area`s now i`m wiser and realise it dont matter just ask away wherever
