Now I'm a bit of a burger fan and always been jealous of the USA cornering the market

Man v food etc

My lad had a burger in Manchester and I'm so going to this place :D

Gotta get one of these killers :D

If you want a healthier tasty alternative try Christmas burgers.

Turkey mince and stuffing burgers on a briosh roll topped with grilled lean bacon, slice of brie cheese and cranberry jelly. Then pop under the grill. You can add salad too !

Here in Belgium there is a chip shop (or whatever you guys call it) in the city Tongerlo that sells their own burgers called Mc Tongerlo.
You should Google this for images, the burger is Massive and is 30cm in seize.
It contains 4 hamburgers, Bacon, 2 tomatoes, 3 eggs and 2 big slices of pineapple. They serve the burger in a large box (normally use for pie) and fill the box around the burger with french fries. In total this burger weigh's about 2 kilo's....

The owner of the shop says, if you can eat the box empty by yourself in his shop, you get a second for Free (next time you come :x )

The food on man vs food always looks amazing. I've never seen burgers and sandwiches like those in the UK. How much are those huge brisket or pastrami sandwich things in the US?

My better half makes the best burgers in the world. We got our own small mincer. Use fillet steak(occasionally) as your meat and then all the other ingredients and you end up with a burger from heaven. Obviously you need all the trimming too like red onion, lettuce etc. Try it you'll not regret it. Small mincers can be bought for like £30.

Depends on where you live......where I live around $5 - $10.................where June lives....................around $25 :D

That's what i thought. If there were such things in the UK you can bet they would be a fortune and be no where near as good, or at least not as tasty looking as those Man V Food. Don't think we do 'big' food well in the UK. I've had some boss Kebabs though :p

Sounds sublime Grant and it is no crime admitting on here that you are a small mincer

I shudder to think how much that would cost over here!

"Boss Kebebs" LOL! Had a few of them that's for sure, there's a Kebab house by us that does some monsters. Literally a weeks worth of calories in one kebab.

Here's a shocker - my Mrs has never had a kebab! Gobsmacked  ...and that's not a euphemism

Don't do nasty take aways though

Lot of them cropping up in Burnley, one called speedy chicken :?
Strangely a lot of the town centre pigeons are disappearing :?

lol  Speedy Chicken. There's a 'Mr Chicken' near me. Behind my work there's a Chinese takeaway called 'E-wok' ...no ****!
