Hey Guys

I am new to the board and i have been collecting for the last 3 years, mostly MOCs.

I have a snowspeeder Die cast MOC and I just found out the bubble is coming off...

See pix

What can I do to prevent/fix further damage?

Cheers!

If you mean, how can you repair it, then UHU glue works well. It will always be and will always look like a reseal, but since all the parts are vintage originals and providing of course that you fully declare it as a reseal if you ever come to sell it, that's what I would recommend.

Sorry to see this, a good tip is to lean all your MOC back slightly when displaying them. Gravity pulls the bubble towards the card rather than away then. Not sure if this makes any difference but every little helps I guess. :?

Yep, what he said ^^^

Top loader display cases are great to keep these sort of things completely original (these essentially clamp the bubble in place). It won't reverse the process but may help stop ot coming off further. Resealing is frowned upon by some. Once you carry out that repair out it will forever be a reseal.

My snowspeeder is very similar to this. The die cast are heavy ships

Rather than a top loader buy a narrow acrylic case or get it graded, and the bubble will be snug against the front of the case and won't move further. And will look great!

Check with Christian how deep his cases are
