Bubble/blister dents

Just a quick one,

I have heard a number of people mention about popping bubbles back into shape using tape.....just wondering is it exactly as I think, you just put a small piece of tape on the affected area and try and pop the bubble back out?

Any tips on the best way to do this? Is there a good chance the bubble may crack or split?

Appreciate any advice, the bubble of the card is crushed in but is not cracked or split, it's a tri logo so is there more risk with their fragile bubbles?
