Did anyone else go yesterday? Went in on an early bird entry at 8am and was glad I did as queues (for NEC covid control checks) were horrendous come 10.30am.

I took my son with me who collects Funko's - we haven't been to a toy fair since BC (Before Covid) and he was extremely excited to go.

There was plenty of great toys and quite a bit of star wars graded and loose which was great to see. I collect mailers and all I saw were a few graded Emperors and a nice graded ESB Display stand set with background cards - a real beast once graded (i have one anyway but just need to bite the bullet and get it cased up to display). Plenty of great condition MOC's as well.

Would be interested to hear from anyone who had a stand whether it was a good show for them?

Cheers,

Jimbo

I went - Never knew there was an early bird as I would have taken it. I expected to be there 30 minutes but big queue and thousands of stands meant I still in the hall at the time I was due to be home for a vist of friends... 100+ miles away! I've never been and was horribly overstimulated like a 7 year old in Toys-R-Us. I wasn't hunting Star Wars and even though I was in at 11 still picked up lots of bits and bobs. Supernaturals, Gi Joe, Starcom, Visionaires - I didn't bring any cash which meant I couldnt get one or two bits I wanted.

I had attended toy fairs in the nineties, and they were always 100% dinky and trains. Last one I did about 5 years ago was similar. So seeing so many things I never knew I wanted was just a bit much... Madballs! Britains Toy Soldiers!

I will defo go back!
