Of course, no Star Wars release would be complete without multiple SKUs. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release Star Wars in three distinct sets:

* Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray (9-disc Set includes all six films)

* Star Wars: Prequel Blu-ray Trilogy (3-disc set includes Episodes I-III)

* Star Wars: Original Blu-ray Trilogy (3-disc set includes Episodes IV-VI)

The three extra discs of the Complete Saga set are special features that contain more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more.

Wouldn't mind watching all the extra footage but I think I'm gonna give the blu-ray discs a miss. I watched all the original trilogy when sky ran them in hd last year and I was NOT impressed. You can have too much of a good thing. The films are too clear to the point that you can actually see the crew members fingerprints in Darth vaders helmet. As much as I love these films they were not made for hd.
Just my opinion but I am sure I am not the only person that feels this way.
