Best way to mail a boxed mini-rig?

There isnt a box on the market which seems small enough? So do I pay out and cut down a larger box? OR would loads of bubble wrap and a nice padded envelope be enough?

Custom build one- it takes 2 minutes.

I would definately not used a padded envelope - I normally head down to my local shop and ask for some spare chocolate/biscuit boxes - they will do the trick

Cereal boxes, wine boxes and shoe boxes are your friend when sending stuff out. Your local supermarket can be a honeyhole!

Banana boxes from supermarkets are a great and free source of heavy duty cardboard, if you're after more reinforcement!

Best way to pack up a mini rig is:

1. support the main flap with strong cardboard,
2. wrap it up with bubble wrap
3. put it in a relatively large (and very strong) box
4. Fill up the box with foam peanuts

Emiel is right about the envelope, never mail it like that. A guy mailed me last year some moc like that and the cards was bend and broken. Lucky it was not vintage star wars but new star wars.
