Hi Guys,

I recently started trying to put together a loose figure run. Thought I would post my efforts so far. This has taken about a month or so so far:

A few shout outs to some members:

Itfciain, chazb73, mumbo and momike all for help finding some of the figures and some of the missing accessories for the few acceptable ones I found on ebay.

Hopefully I will be back soon with the next 9, although I have some MOC's I have arranged deals on to buy next so the getting to 21 will have to wait for the time being.

From small acorns do big trees grow my friend and dem acorns look pretty damn good

Some beautiful looking loosies there my friend and I'm looking forward to watching your collection grow

There always lies magic within a line up of the first twelve. A very wise start.

Thought Id bump my old thread. Its been a couple of months and phase 2 has been in full effect:

Here are the whole of my efforts so far:

I have upgraded some of my original figures, including a mint C3PO, although I have downgraded my R2 (Lesson, do not sell the old one until the new one has turned up and is confirmed better). I also have a big head Han. Originally I wasn't going to bother with variants, but have decided certain "major" variations I will collect (hence the Han's and Fett's), so I will be adding a white haired ben and a brown haired luke, as well as a VCJ and a blue snag eventually.

A few more shouts, got some fantastic figures from Paul (rangersjedi), as well as some from Bram and Jeff.

Going to start on the Empire figures in a couple of weeks.

Michael,

Its a 3 Line coo Luke with a lettered sabre. Early bird I believe although I may be incorrect. He's in lovely condition though.

Grant,

I will get a VC Jawa eventually but its lower down the list of priorities at the moment. As for the rocket firing fett, I will leave the prototype stuff for the guys with the unlimited budgets ;)

Im not sure how people will feel about this but I'm finding it really hard to find a decent death star droid, so I have brought a graded one (85). Im going to take a hammer to the case when it turns up and free him from his plastic tomb. Either I'm going to get the nice figure I want for my collection or I'm going to end up with an expensive pile of acrylic.

I hadn't bargained on it being so hard to locate a decent DSD either, & I've been on the lookout since resurrecting the hobby over a year ago. Imperial Dignitaries without nose-rubs are ten a penny compared to those guys!

I never considered buying a graded fig & setting it free before, but you might well be onto something. Like you, I don't care much for plastic boxes either.

Great collection so far :D

Figures look great, how are the limbs on you DSD? I'm still trying to find a loose mint one :?

My favs Tri Fett & Greedo.

Good stuff :D
Cheers
