What do you do with your beaters ?

You know R2-D2 with missing stickers or broken stickers, figures with missing arms, legs, big paint damage, with a lot of ink, yellow figures or other kind of damages etc. etc.

So you sell them, trade them or do you use them to produce custom figures etc. etc. ?

I'm the same I have alot of beaters and will try to make a full collection with them all and pass to my son :) the rest I will sell here. I bought alot of job Lots from eBay hoping to build a mint collection.
I have a dream to build a model in the loft of all the key battles and use the beaters to relive the scenes :)
I really hope I can do that :D

Customs or nice to throw in playsets and vehicles on display.

I have thought about to use them as customs, if I can learn how to make them

But should I also do that with the more rare beaters :?

I have a meccano biker scout who have lost the head. It can be glued on again but it would never be the same as one that is not broken

Do you only use cheap kenner variants or also the more expensive ones ?

I would repair the biker scout and leave it alone. I only use common beaters for customs.

Thanks, maybe I should repair it with some glue and sell it

I just chucked some in with a sale. Just been hanging around so someone else might as well make use of them.

I glad you describe beaters like that. More and more, I see people using the word to describe figures that aren't mint. Which all seems very ostentatious.

But, yeah, job lot sales to make the postage costs worth while to the buyer.

Thanks. maybe we should upload some pictures to debat about what is beaters :D

But yes I think a beater is r2-d2 missing the stickers, figures with missing parts, very yellow figures or with ink on them etc. etc. :D

Yeah. I want my beaters to have been in both a bath and a sandpit at the very least. Buried in Earth is even better.
