Hi guys,

Recently bought a vintage B-Wing fighter which really looks great because all of the stickers are still there. The seller promised me that the sound would work, but.... no

Does any of you guys have some experience fixing the sound of a vintage B-Wing fighter? I saw a video on YouTube, unscrewing the B-Wing and it seems that there is a small electric motor on board. Any advice? Cheers! 8)

Here you go :D

I once removed a broken cockpit from a B-wing and replaced it with a perfect one. That was not easy, my brother helped me, 2 hands was not enough to put it together again. But maybe the guy on youtube is better to it than me and my brother :?

About the engine, I think it is the same with all the engines, push the button and have a battery in the vehicle and also spin the engine at the same time. Then you can start the engine again 9 out of 10 times  Sometimes you need to do it for a few seconds other times 10 min or more

Here is the forum link about the repair of the engine http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8915

I've not repaired a B-wing yet but done most of the other vehicles. They all have the same kind of motor and as mentioned above if you hold the power on and turn it by hand it will almost always come back to life. One further suggestion I'd have is to add a small squirt of WD40 or similar grease into the motor before you put it all back together. This should keep the motor working a little longer

Good luck!

Thanks I did not know that about WD40

Thank you guys! Well, seems like I have to search for a screwdriver and some grease to make the engine go... :D
