Awesome TV shows

Been watching The Sopranos on Sky Atlantic every Wednesday for what sees like the last 5 years now. Amazing show with the final episode next week. Also watching The Wire currently S4 Ep 2 on a Friday. I don't want to suffer the blues like I got when BSG and 24 ended so are there any other obvious great shows I've missed. Never saw Lost (seems a bit daft) or Dexter (Pete mentions this is great in another thread)

Agree with Game of Thrones. That is awesome.
Never saw the others. Will check them out, Thank god for the world's greatest invention, the DVD boxset!

Yeah Dexter is brilliant. Very addictive.
Deadwood is also awesome tho it's only 3 seasons and doesn't actually have an end as it got cancelled due to the writers strike and they never finished it.

Enjoyed the 2 first seasons of Dexter, but the start of the 3rd season not so much, but dude, episode 8 freaked me out....bigtime....

Half way through covert affaires season 2 now, big loud, silly and impossibly attractive people playing at spies - loving it.

I left a town call eureka of my list, great sy-fi show.

Just starting the second series (refuse to use the term "season") of the Walking Dead. So far so good! 8) No spoilers please!

Watched the first series of Dexter, I thought it was ok, but the missus didn't like it and I doubt I'll bother with series 2+ it killed a few hours, but for me, I can take it or leave it.

Tundra, If you want a good Sci Fi series try Babylon 5.
IMO still head and shoulders above anything else made, as far as TV sci fi goes. It's probably a bit dated now, the computer graphics are kack, but the plot and story arcs are brilliant. Very little Star Trek babble either, no last minute "recalibration of phase inverters" and hey presto everything is back to the way it was :roll: . Plus all episodes interlink none of this race/gadget/gizmo appearing in one episode and never seen of again.
I really can't recommend it highly enough.
A good 7 or 8 series as well so plenty of viewing.

Not new, but I remember watching the 'V' series as a kid.
Also, 'Chips', and the good old 'Dukes of Hazzard' and 'Fall Guy'.

babylon 5 that takes me back did you know the orignal graphics were done by an amiga! farscape is a good watch
me and the missus are watching revenge at the moment im quite enjoying it :lol:

Two words: Breaking Bad.

Possibly the best TV show ever made (and I say that as a complete Soprans devote). An absolute crime/mystery why no UK broadcaster has picked this up.
