Attention all Star Wars Forum members.

As you may have read, i had to move servers this week because the old one was being discontinued.

Unfortunately the old database was corrupt, which means everything has been lost. All accounts, old posts, private messages, everything.

I apologise for the inconvenience, and I hope that all members will sign up again and continue to use the board. I can assure you this will not happen again, as it is now hosted on my own server.

It's a real shame as we had over 200 members, nearly 10,000 posts and some great topics. But hopefully it won't take too long for the board to pick up again.

Its a real shame you lost everything. It will take a while to get 200+ members again.
Is this the new perminent layout for the forum? I think i prefered the graphics on the old one with the potf coins at the top.

Thought my computer had packed up as well,I'm glad the forum is back up and running.

i actually have a genuine excuse for a change, have just started a new 9-5 job. luckily i'm still sat in front of a computer all day so can still browse, will have to leave the proper messing about to the weekends now though :lol:

regarding the old database, i have still got it on my computer. i don't know what's wrong with it, it just won't work when i try and install it. but when i open it in notepad all the data is still there, all 10,000 posts, pm's etc in one long file! there's probably just a couple of numbers missing in the code somewhere, but i don't know how to fix it.

the layout will definitely change, i just used this one for now as it was the first space-themed one i could find. perhaps we could do a vote or something with a few different options!

believe it or not i was looking for a way of bumping up people's post counts, cant find a way of doing it though. if anybody knows how, let me know and i will do it for the regulars.
