I've just bought what I believe to be an at at from 1981, however it has a brown base panel, the seller has assured me it's genuine as he had it as I child, I've trawled the Internet but can't find one like it from that year, has anyone seen one like this, I'm puzzeled

If its the underneath of the body some have been on eBay very discoloured.

I agree, I too have an example with a badly discoloured underside. Mine's definitely vintage, just discoloured.

Only the endor re-release is dark in some places.
