I need to keep my head low here, Star Wars Pioneerd CGI. It's no less appealing to me than rubber masks and Matt paintings. This trailer rocked and the CGI was amazing. The original trilogy has been and gone and is always there. 70's and 80's era of film was golden, films will never be made like that era again.

Star Wars has moved into the 21 century that's all.

The 10 seconds of X wings and the falcon in this trailer, CGI or not is cooler than any of the ships in the prequels IMO.

It's only ever going to get more and more exciting for most.

You have to take into consideration, it can never be the originals all over again,
SW came along in a different age, take it at face value I say, and enjoy it for what it is, only my opinion, I'm even more excited now, and I shall be watching ANH this weekend for sure :wink:

Absolutely! I LOVED all of it. It gave me goosebumps and for the first time it really dawned on me that in just over a years time their will be a new Star Wars cinematic experience (Yes a year is waay too long!). Its got to be good for the franchise and it will be appealing to a whole new generation of fans which will keep the franchise alive for many more years which has got to be a good thing.

One last thing - IMO you should to approach these new films with an open mind. I know the prequels have tarnished it for many (and rightly so) but all the negativity is unfounded. This is just a teaser save the negativity till the movie is out or at least till the full length trailer.

I can't quite put into words just how excited I am about the new film. The teaser trailer was better than I hoped for, I was expecting something more along the lines of the Star Wars Rebels treaser which showed pretty much nothing other than the title.

Even the GCI looks convincing unlike the prequels.

Loved it all...even the lightsabre. Nowt wrong with that. Also loved the voiceover. **** im so fooking excited . My wife thinks ive been watching porn.

Didn't need the overly complicated camera moves. Looked much cooler like this. Reminds me of a couple of shots from empire in the asteroid field.

Loved the trailer hated r2 on a beach ball and the lightsaber with built in blow torch. The falcon is SWEET.
