Anyone recommend a good battery charger??

Hey guys and gals.

I am after a battery charger for AA and AAA batteries as I am fed up of spending a fortune on batteries for my kids toys.

Can anyone recommend a decent one??

They are mostly pretty good. Varta, Duracell, everyready; I think I've used them all with no issues.

Does price come into it?? They range from around £8 up to £35 - £40. Will an £8 one work just as well as a £40??

I don't think it matters at all. I would go for the decent batteries though

Always use decent batteries. Last longer and less chance of problems. Although apparently there are quite a lot of fakes out there even in the big supermarkets.

ive had quite a few different types and in my opinion i prefer the uniross or the energiser 2300mah the better they are the longer they last,i use these for my lightsabers and they are top, other batteries just dont seem to last as long and the mah is a factor as well

I've used a couple, but really like the Sanyo eneloop - bought mine off Amazon with four batteries for around £11 - really hold their charge, and good batteries.

I like the AA usb batteries, you pop the cap off and charge them on your pc or laptop
