I bought a Luke Dt on eBay for £120 , got him graded and sold him for almost £400 , 3 weeks later . I wish I had kept him now , but that's another thread

Flipping heck.

I sold a DT Vader for £700 in 2009 - really nice shape too, so somebody got lucky(ish). That was a bad move, given the pricing today - advertised it openly and struggled a bit even at that price!

I did! Well kind of....

I bought a Luke FB here in Holland off the local classifieds for 20 Euros about two years ago. Was in great shape. Got it home and was stoked to find out it was a DT! Posted some photos on RS and unfortunately Bill McBride told me it was "most likely" a repro". I'm still clinging on to that slight chance it's real and haven't binned it yet. I should taken it to C7 to show him in person but completely forgot.

£700 in 2009, damn that was a good price  In 2009 I would say the price was £200-250 the good old days and in the USA you could find them for $150-300.

£250? I really don't think I've ever seen them sell that cheaply! This is Vader, not Luke btw.

Nothing ever happens to me like this, probably Karma. I brought I VC Jawa once and it had a repro cape.

I got lucky that my girlfriend bought me my dt luke for xms many many years ago for 150 American, no vader and ben though

Wow top chick. Lucky man. I'd love a DT Luke more so than a Ben or Vader. Forget the fact they're rarer, Luke's the mutherf##king man. Well I thought he was as a kid. I now realise the Farm Boy is a bit of a wiener. Suffice to say, you have a DT, I am envious.

hhaha yeah I guess im lucky for having it but it just doesn't compare to a ben or vader imo . ive always loved the Kenobi dt it just looks so right to me but I will never spend that kind of scratch on one figure

I always take a punt on potential DT figures on Ebay.
Over the last 10 years i must've bought 1000+ loose figures from collections on a DT hunch…..no luck yet…lotsa broken sabres though :?
One day though one day
