Any collectors from the saltburn area of N East England?

Hi I'm Daniel,

I got put onto this site by Gustie, who I chatted with on Rebel Scum. I'm new to this site, and just wondered if there was any collectors from the North East of England, near the Middlesbrough/Cleveland or Saltburn areas who would like to get in touch, and maybe meet up etc. I'm a friendly guy, I'm 32 and I've been collecting vintage star wars for 3 years, though I also was mad about Star Wars when I was young.

I've also got a friend, who I met through ebay, who's a fellow collector, we've known each other for a few years and meet up regularly and is a great guy, he used to collect modern, but now concentrates on varients and is always looking to trade modern for vintage etc. He lives in Loftus, and I live in Brotton, about five minutes from Saltburn.

I'm in the Yorkshire Dales but thats still a long way from you as North Yorkshire is so damn big.

Its good to see you've made your way over from Rebelscum, its become a bit of a warzone recently. There are certainly some arrogant arseholes there :roll:

Hi Dan, I'm in County Durham for work for a day or so a month, but surprisingly I don't take my collection with me. Not sure I'd trust Easy-Jet's baggage handlers! :lol:

No it wasn't my Mum, she's nearly 60 lol.

Didn't know there were some arrogant bastards on RS, I've only joined the site and it hasn't been so bad so far, though I've heard from people that on forums some people can be real snobbish - just because it's a computer and you're typing away doesn't mean people don't have feelings the other side lol.

I am a varient collector like Gustie, he brought me over 'from the dark side RS' recently to this forum.

Just bought a PBP Han Hoth off Spoons on ebay, he tried selling it on here for Ã'£17 but no takers, he reduced it to Ã'£4.99 on ebay and still no takers! I thought I haven't got that varient and is rare so I bought it, I was the only bidder.

Keep it up guys, keep the good times rolling ...
