Ouch!

He says he's no expert but I believe the technical term he is looking for is "****ed".

There was another dodgy walrusman 20 back that ended on eBay last night. finished at about Ã'£35ish. That one was definitely sealed though I think.

What's funny is that a resealed on on eBay is currently going for more!

What is it with Palitoy reseals at the moment? Or is that people aren't reading the listings properly and thinking they are MOC?

I think you're right, that's what i was thinking, look at the below listing. This person seems to be getting high bids on his stuff, yet the description is quite mis leading, as it only says "opened" at the very top of the listing. Or have i missed a "factory sealed" quote in his add???

Does seem like a lot of money for an umpunched cardback, original bubble, original card insert and R5-D4 figure and someone elses glue Ã'£50

It is listed in the resealed category and does contain the fact that the item is re-sealed in the auction description. I would like to see it more obviously stated that it is a reseal but the sellers has covered their arse in terms of the info being there - buyer beware.

I suppose they do look quite good, from a distance anyway, and Palitoy MOC's ain't exactly cheap. Better than a fake card and bubble as well. Lets just hope they don't find their way back onto ebay as 'sealed' MOC's :|

I don't think it's fair to say these are overpriced.

People are paying what they are willing to pay. His reserves are set at 50, people are choosing to pay over that.

For many people this will the closest they will get to owning the real thing and it is a far cheaper alternative.

If I thought I would never get a sealed sample of a figure I'd pay a lot for a good reseal.

I thought about getting the greedo but would only be replacing it with a MOC in the future so didn't bother.

It went for 50 quid!

Glad to see ye guys didnt plug potentially dead money into the reseals, i only say that cause chances are sometime in the near future ye probably will find the real thing, well worth waiting for 8)
