Replicard

What a ****. Someone needs to smash this guys 100% feeback into oblivion.

Check his other items bidders going for them :?

I seriously don't think that bidders really think these are genuine, all the same
Bad news though, there are always going to be these sellers, that's why this forum is a safe haven :D

Yeah and they all look ****. Even though he's not claiming its genuine, the problem is that whoever buys it may then resell and try and pass it off as the real deal. I've seen some marked "Reproduction Packaging" which would remove that possibility.

Yep that's a good way of solving the issue if they stamp the back with Repro packaging ...that would help

The resale situation is a big issue

So much counterfeit goods out there, not just SW, there will always be a market unfortunately

Yeah, and they come under 3 categories; people who would like the genuine article but can't afford it so are buying it as a stopgap, people who don't care and just want something that looks like it, and twats who are only happy when they are screwing someone over

His feedback will stay at 100% as he is clear in what he is selling and people who buy from him are happy with what they get... Unless someone here wants to buy something from him.

I am not keen on the rip-offs (Sand People, R2D2 & Uzays) and there is a strong case for reporting them, but I can see why there is a market for the custom figures MOC, sorry MOR

I quite like the Uncle Owen figure

Maybe we're missing out? these could be the Uzay's of the furture!... but I highly doubt it.

Take a look at this listing a replica Han Solo Meccano 20 square backed MOC, it started at 99p up to £39.00 already

The card has rounded corners, they should be square, the bubble is just wrong wrong wrong........

That looks so shithouse - how can people be so dumb as to bid on it?

Reported it anyway and also messaged the seller "you are selling counterfeit items and have been reported"... hoping I get an amusing tirade of abuse, will post it here if I do :D

Hopefully he'll realise that the effort that goes into making repro carded figures isn't worth the return. Tusken sold for £11 about what a loose one can go for, but he must have spent over a fiver in materials and effort making it. I like the custom stuff but repro's are bad....bad...bad.... no place for them in our hobby.

The Meccano's he had selling have all been removed :!:
