Another Cool Shop Gone!

So when me and my Partner first came to Malmö in January to see if this was the place we wanted to spend some time,I was also overly excited at the fact they had an actual Star Wars shop here that was packed with Vintage now I'm sad to inform you guys Kenner & Co has gone!
I was down there yesterday talking with him for a bit he was in a happy mood talking about celebration and stuff but it was sad to see it gone so quick half of the store is now an Ice cream parlour all-ready with the other half full of bits and bobs,it was kinda rubbish but he is going online soon selling his stuff like he dose on eBay with Patches and Tshirts and such.

That's a real shame but its the way of the world I guess . Not many of these places around any more with most sellers going online now. There's something much more "fun" about going into a real shop, looking around for what you want and buying it, especially if you come across something cool and unexpected.

There's one in Wigan just gone - Funky Figures. They sold all kinds of vintage collectables and had a bit of Star Wars stuff including boxed mini rigs, loose figs and ships. Gone now

ive known 3 shops in the past 2 years that sold starwars vintage / and retro stuff local too me in north wales. all gone. it was due too rent increase and not enough people buying so in turn not covering there overheads. i regret now not buying some stuff when they were open far better seeing things and holding things in your own hands than buying online much more fun and satisfying! its a shame for these small shops but its a sign of the times
