Short but very sweet!. Love it Chris!
See this one in the side column, the guy at the end saying he's buying Star Wars toys as an investment.
Love it. :D

Funny I was lookin at that just yesterday on u-tube.

Yeah it's great, there are also loads of original TV adverts on there as well.

Like you said there was a thread a long while ago with this sort of stuff, but no harm in a refresher now is there. :)

It makes me feel really sad :(

Our local toy shop "Ben's Toys" had a wall of Star Wars figures and vehicles just like that shop. When ever my Mum was going into town i would go with her and pester her all the way round town until she bought me a new figure  It always worked :p

Oh the memories......Wish i could go back and do it one more time :(

Used to love walking round all the toy shops and looking at the rows and rows of SW figures and ships. 8)

Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing collecting vintage star wars at my age. I should really call myself Benjamin button.

Wouldn't you love a time machine, a big black bin bag and 30 seconds in that store at the end of the clip?

:D

In Accrington we had a toy stall inside the market hall which sold loads of SW & Action Man stuff! :D

Sadly long gone & last time i was in there, the stall was selling bedding & light bulbs! :(

In that video on the right 2nd down in that link where the news cameras are doing a piece on star wars merchandise, towards the end when they interview that guy buying moc's for future investment and the guy interviewing and the news readers kind of give off the feeling that the guy is an idiot or insane....Well who's laughing now news peeps **** you mwuhahahaahahaah.
I wonder if that guy has sold them all or is still sitting on them?.....hhmmmmm i wonder

It was a great shop, i spent many hours looking around it as a child, it was like an aladdin's cave :D
Its nice to see a fellow SW collector living nearby 8)

Great stuff. That's the first time ive ever seen a video clip of vintage been sold. Time machine is right- it would be amazing to pick them up......I like the fact the Falcon was on display for all to see- with the radar dish on show too! Wonder how long till it went walkabouts?
