So here's the thing. I paid over the odds for a MISB Large Size Boba Fett. The listing said that the figure had come loose inside the box. I should have paid more attention, so my bad, not blaming the seller.
The good news is that the figure really has never left the box. The factory seals are still intact. And the box is outstandingly good.
The bad news is the figure is loose inside the box as in totally free to move around, not restricted at all. The rubber band has perished little bits of come out of the box.
The problem now as I see it is that to best preserve the figure it should probably be taken out of the box but doing that will destroy the value. I can't imagine a way of stabilising the figure without getting in the box. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with anything like this?
It's a bit annoying considering what I paid but I tell you what though, the big Boba Fetts are really cool toys, I always wanted one. Never knew it had an eye piece you could look through, really nice touch. Can't imagine how cool it would have been when I was 10!
