Advice needed URGENTLY re AFA'd fig price

Hi guys

I have not been on in some time due to work & family commitments, but would love some advice if any of you can help?.

I have been offered this Takara R2D2 wind up, its U90 graded (highest known grade) but I usually only collect loose baggies & am not that up on AFA graded fig's, hence wanting your advice guys.

What do you think is the top price tag I should be paying for it??, any & all help greatly appreciated.

Not sure if we have many graded loose collectors on here, but I'm sure someone will be able to give you a ball park figure.

Thanks for the reply weasel, I hope someone else can shed some light, the chap is asking £350 but its a tad out of my price range & not sure the fig is worth it??, as said I don't do afa'd figs as a rule, but doubt I will get a loose one in as good a condition.

Assume you've done the completed listing search on Ebay, and checked for sale thread on RS?
I remember seeing one for sale not so long ago, may not have been U90 though, but was definately a high grade. Will at least give you a rough idea.

Yes i have & the same chap sold another 1 same grade for £300 a while ago on ebay, though I can't find any for refrance over on RS, thanks again Weasel 8)

I think £350 is a great price for this piece considering its an AFA 90.

PS One of the Ugrade brigade will no doubt want to add this piece to their collections so with that being said that its an AFA U 90 it should be worth a few quid them. 8)

It sounds like a great piece, but that price seems pretty high. The last one I sold was a year ago and it was perfect. I got $175 for it. I bet it would have graded a 90, but yours is a U90. I would offer 275 pounds and see what he says.

Thank you very very much chaps, your replies have been just what I needed for confirming both the collectors rep & the items value.

I had made a higher offer that I could afford in all honesty, but you know tight times are at hand & the price tag was just a touch out of my reach, I have my saving head on so with luck I may get it in a week or 2
