A seriuosly good buy!

not for me either

notice there's some repro weapons in there

will he actually sell that collection??? Surely it would be better to split it for the collectors?

He may well end up selling it to a dealer (possibly outside Ebay) and they will then break it up and sell it on.

When you read the description the good money items are all repro

Quote from descrition

"Repro Items Are
3 Double Telescoping Lightsabers Luke, Ben & Darth Vader
3 Replica Rocket Firing Boba Fetts J-Slot In Bag With Box, L-Slot In Bag With Box, L-Slot With Stamps & Spare Rocket
Repro Vinyl Cape For Jawa
Repro Bib Fortuna Red Jacket

Non Of The Lili Ledy Figures Have Lili Ledy Weapons, The Ones With Weapons Are Jut Standard Weapons"

These factors above would worry me in terms of trying to pull the money back selling them individually.

Yeah I agree, the only decent money figures are the blue snag and the vinyl cape jawa (the real one).

The lili-ledy would be much better with proper accessories.

There are a lot of figures that will only fetch £2-3, so unless he takes a really low offer, its not good value....
Unless of course someone wants these for their own collection, then its up to the buyer if its worth it.

This guy bought a load of stuff from me about a year ago.

There is some nice stuff in the auction including the boxed falcon.

But i have noticed that there have been 3 offers already and all declined so he certainly has the interest. The difficulty he will have is that he obviously needs money due to the financial climate and most people would not have enough to buy this as a lot. So a dealer may want it but they will need to ensure they get it for the right price to sell on with profit.

I am sure it will go.

I may have to put it on my watch list.

He has at least one genuine vinyl jawa and one repro, but imagine if you sold the jawa, yak face, blue snag, hollow raider, blue saber luke, POTF figures you would get a fair bit for that lot alone, hundreds of figures that say you get £5 a piece for...

i think he'll get 2k for that lot

selling it seperately would generate more money i think

If a dealer paid £2k for it, I dont think even that leaves a lot of profit.

I bought over 500 figures from a guy in the US for a little less than what hes asking.

Yes there are afew nice figures , but loads more cheap stuff too.

It looks like 2 of those bids were from the same person.

The problem is the costs involved in selling them individually. If you go the ebay route to hit the biggest audience then you have to shell out on the ebay fee's and paypal fee's before postage. Many of those figures aren't minty mint and the ledys are incomplete. Other option is to shift them here or RS to try and save fee's but your market is much smaller. IEither way ebay will be needed to shift the bulk of them individually and the costs involved in this will be a sizable chunk of any potential profit.

I'd offer £1500 £1600 max if i wanted to be confident of coming away with a decent profit for the time invested in re-selling them.

Yeah it depends on how you wanted to look at it, a collecter may not be interested in a massive profit, but if he sold 80% and got his money back that would be an awesome deal for somebody.

i couldnt be arsed selling all the cheap stuff, but i have seen collections of 25-50 figures based on episodes sell quite well recently, again you would need time and patience.

its got some vehicles like the falcon that i would want.

but again if somebody wants that collection they could get it for a great price.

Yeah I was thinking about £1500, cos as said above the condition of a few of the figures is questionable, and the seller doesnt really give any clues about it.
