May be a bit premature, but I've had recently a little time to reflect, and found like all I have crap going on and stuff that you can really do without, but don't we all.
I always find that Christmas is a fantastic time and always makes me feel great, so I'm making a concerted effort from now on to be positive and look forwards, there have been many examples on this very forum of what life can throw at us, when we least expect it, disappointment is not an issue it's how you deal with it.
So at the risk of being cheesy and an old tart, I thought I'd write a ditty, sorry if its not your bag.
There is a great feeling of community on this forum, so the following is not about religious conviction, or pushing ideals on anyone, it's just a personal reflection, and one which I shall take heed of moving forwards.
I have a wonderful wife and family that serve to get me through the bad times, and provide untold riches for the good times, I know that many of you guys have the same.
So I would genuinely like to wish all a really positive year moving forwards, and health wealth and happiness

As Yuletide starts to ebb and to take a bow,
Take a lead on what to do now.
Hold the wonder, the joy and try,
Within our hearts both you and I
To travel life from this day on,
To keep that wonder, not leave behind and gone.
Laughter, goodwill a sense of giving,
Enriches a life a worthwhile living.
We cannot cure sadness and all worlds ill,
But with kindness and laughter it we can help to fill.
That a better place is built from within,
With that but one simple step we can begin.
It may not stem the trouble or strife,
That visits our door throughout our life,
I say greet all that comes to call,
With a sense of hope for one and all.
Keep that spirit alive and well,
In all our hearts it should surely dwell.
All our fears and worries, hope is never forlorn,
With it you can battle any storm.
So charge your glass and raise a toast,
In that contentment you can boast,
In this I'm sure time will attest,
You've done all you can, your very best.
