.

Yeah- saw that on the TV last night (made me sick), unfortunately this is not restricted to any particular religion/belief. Animals are treated badly everywhere in the world because the human race can be really ****ed up sometimes

Didn't watch it, for some reason it didn't look too appealing. I skimmed through various bits of it and that was enough.
I think James is right, it's not just Islam that treats animals in a way, we in the west, find appalling. I'm no expert but I don't think the Jewish method for killin animals is the nicest either. I could be wrong though.
And there are more than enough cases of animal cruelty in Britain, albeit not on the same scale as that!

I don't disagree with you.
I just think it's, unfortunately, a lot more common and widespread than we realise (and not unique to the Muslim faith)!

There are halal abattoirs in every major city in the world, I'd like to think they are all not as cruel to animals. It certainly is not purely a religious act. But I'm glad they stopped the shipment out of Port Hedland (my old town) until this disgrace is sorted out.

Well they just banned all trade of Australian cattle to Indonesia.

See, all you need to do is post on here in "Off Topic" and hey presto, world Governments take heed!
