well just been told by the boss i have till 28th of feb to either come back to work full time or **** off
so i now have a month to either find another job get my plasterering up and running or stay at that **** hole

not the best time of the year , but stop making ****ing excuses and get plastering full time.
if you work in a factory then its unlikely you wont be able to find a similar job somewhere elseif everything goes tits up .

if your unhappy at the job your at now then go for it . place a couple of adds in local paper and the work should come rolling in .

te other thing is the wife has just bought another shop so she is kind of depending on me while this is up and running,so if mine goes arse up .****ing whole situation is making me drink

The only thing I'd say about the self-employed thing is that it's bloody hard work and can be a bit hit and miss. Some weeks/months you could be workig all the hours of the day the next week/month your sitting back wishing you had some work on!

Mind you, 'you never get rich working for someone else!'

Kinda Boba, taking over from the auld man, he's retiring slowly and muggins here has to TRY and pick up the reigns! :(

It is true though Jabba, no company or employer is gonna pay you the full value of the work you do or the work you bring into the company. But, if the company isn't doing so well you still get paid regardless. Whereas if your self-employed and there aint much work on you get **** all apart from maybe a nice wee bankruptcy notice!
