Need advice people - I am now only 1 away from completing my 12 back run - once I find a Solo at a decent price I am complete - pics will be coming soon of the ones I have recently acquired - they are coming from Oz and the US so taking their time in the postal system

Anyway, whilst I continue my search for Solo I need another focus other than my die-cast so the natural progression for me is the 20/21 backs - but the question is which way do I go - being still a newbie to this collecting thing I need advice on the difference between 20 and 21 backs - how achievable it will be etc

Cheers fellas

I would say go for the next 8 (well 9 is you want boba fett aswell) on either 20 or 21 Back Just buy whatever comes availble that you think would fit your collection.

I have mostly 21 Backs, but i do have a 20E (boba fett offer) and also a 21C (free figure offer) in there for example.
As long as the Moc looks good and fits my budget i don't really care about wich variation it is.

Depends if you want it on the debut cardback numberwise or you are happy with the correct Star Wars logo.

I was thinking about the same thing until I decided to pause my 12 back collecting, and my decision was to only go for 20 backs in the future, but that being said, if you open up to 21 backs aswell it will be alot easier and tbh they display just as well :)

You can also try to collect them with different kind off backs, wich given you another kind of conversation collection.

There are lots to choose from. Here is a pic of my 20/21 cardbacks i just framed. You can find these all moc aswell.

Newby thought this was the case:

card backs went from 12 backs to 20 and 21 backs

However, this is where variants, offer and offerless etc start to enter the arena as well

Wasnt it MR fett behind the 21 back, something to do with it originally firing a rocket, and it got recalled due to possible choking potential for kids

MR fett 21 or 20 is V expensive

Feel free to put me right experts if I've got it wrong....I'm only learning :?

Pretty new to this myself but I gather that Kenner released the next 8 figures on 20 back, firstly without and then with the mail-away Boba Fett offer. So Boba Fett first became available carded on the SW 21 backs.

On Palitoy cards Boba Fett wasn't available until the (41 back :?: ) so the oldest Palitoy Fett is an ESB one.

BTW, that is an awesome MOC frame Dennis 8)
