Edd and mods, apologies for putting this in a daft place but this is the most read one (I reckon), it's only here for a very short time and strictly speaking, you can use the code for vintage purchases :D

Get some early Christmas shopping in. One voucher per person but I don't know what would happen if you use the one voucher for a number of items on one basket. Maximum discount is £50 (so spend up to £250 and you'll get 20% off) and doesn't include P&P. You have to go to the Mirror website today (I don't think the code will appear until 1600) and then use it before 2200 today on eBay. Full T&Cs can be found on the site.

Does this work for purchase off ebay.com if through ebay.co.uk?

I can only suggest you visit the link at the top of the page for T&Cs. Don't want to miscommunicate something.....

Typically, I don't have any big purchases I want to buy off eBay at the moment, but because I didn't want the discount to go to waste I settled for a mint loose speeder bike (with flaps) for £15 after savings :D
Thank you for highlighting this on the forum.

Typical, can't bloody find anything I want and paid £150 for something on there last night

Thanks for the heads up folks. A boxed sealed Speeder bike and a blaster for my Bespin Lando figure coming my way. A saving of just over £11. If anyone has a spare cloak for my Lando i'd be interested.

I didn't think I was going to find anything then, either which would have been the first time in living memory, according to my wife.

I ended up with a Gentle Giant Yak Face (on Trilogo, obviously)which came in at less than £40 with the offer and I stuck in a cheeky offer for a Trilogo Ben Kenobi which the seller kindly accepted within the timeframe, so I ended up with a 30%+ discount on that. It's not a new figure to the collection but an upgrade, which is great.

I went down eBay.co.uk BINs for everything in the 150-250 bracket and couldn't see anything that was worth the money even with the 50 quid off (did see a lovely looking Leia I sold on here a month or so ago!) - how bad are some of the prices on there

However, I did have an outstanding payment on eBay.com and it worked there so very happy days - managed to save $70.00 so cheers for the heads up

It's pretty telling that prices are OTT when there's not a single thing for sale on eBay, either loose or carded, for what people on here consider to be a reasonable price. There's the proof all the Facebook morons paying triple market value for everything are doing damage if ever you needed it. I couldn't even find a loose figure worth buying!

Edd, exactly the same. All I wanted was a loose Leia Organa. Would have settled for a Leia Bespin. Not a chance. The cheapest was a reseal at £80. Even with 20% off it was still too much.

Settled for the upgrade Ben in the end. And I am pleased with the huge Yak :) On the whole there was very little to choose from, though.

When I was buying MOCs more regularly in around 2004-2007, there were ALWAYS hundreds of MOCs for sale on eBay, I remember there being 400+ because I was browsing the 'original carded' category several times a day. Yes some were expensive, but there were never any shortage of ones I would have bought if I had the funds. I wasn't really in to loose figures at the time, but I can only imagine there was a plentiful supply of those too.

I wonder of it's because of eBay's stupid new categories? Maybe it's just simply harder to find things now. It used to be a breeze with the individual categories.

The dross that was BIN was shocking - most priced at 100GBP above market value (on a good day)

I wonder why people continue to keep listing them at these prices - there were things on there I remember seeing when I was in the UK a year ago

I saw that Leia Bespin too - I missed out on it when you sold it; should've realised it was the same one! Had it been a 41 a/b/c I would've pulled the trigger yesterday but decided to hold out.
