Nah I spotted it randomly when I was looking at an item and it showed the green £ sign telling me how much I will save if I buy it, and then on the main ebay homepage there was a large advert for the promotion.

Totally agree , I spent an hour "finding" something to buy, and save a few pounds. Bought nothing in the end, which I feel was the right decision.
